BLCT stock’ Update

As part of a ground-breaking new feature, BlueCity is incorporating HIV prevention groups into the worldwide edition of its social networking app, Blued, just in time for World AIDS Day (Dec. 1, 2021).

Blued’s digital HIV prevention component, which will be officially introduced by the end of the year, will be boosted by BlueCity’s #BePositive campaign in numerous countries around the world. Following the release, UNAIDS will release a collaborative report on digitally-enabled HIV prevention in China.

Organizations that have been validated by Blued will be able to provide their services in their region with the help of in-app and social media support. Users can contact these groups directly for counseling, HIV testing appointments, PrEP and PEP access, and home kit delivery, among other things. Furthermore, using the app’s live stream capability, Blued will co-host HIV awareness workshops with these organizations. Fill in the form to apply to participate if your organization is interested.

Blued has built a network of approximately 7,000 testing facilities across China. Blued users can quickly use the app’s resources and even schedule appointments with testing centres in over 30 Chinese cities, ensuring that they receive discreet, stress-free care when their health is in jeopardy.

Furthermore,

BlueCity and UNAIDS will collaborate on a report on technologically enhanced HIV intervention. An AIDS-Free Generation, a program spearheaded by BlueCity and the China Foundation for the Prevention of STD/AIDS (CFPSA), will enter its 9th year in 2021, providing support to HIV prevention programs in local areas. The Danlan Public Interest Fund, for example, got a BlueCity award in August 2019 to boost HIV prevention activities among China’s youth and vulnerable groups.

BlueCity has a longstanding experience of conducting HIV research with partners from government, academia, and industry. Since 2016, BlueCity has collaborated on 22 research publications that have been published in prestigious academic journals such as The Lancet Infectious Diseases. They aim to give evidence-based recommendations for HIV prevention activities all across the world.
